OUR VISION

At Yachay Wasi, our vision is to create a sacred and transformative space where deep healing and spiritual growth thrive through the ancient wisdom of Amazonian plant medicine. Guided by two generations of experienced shamans, we honor and preserve our ancestral knowledge with integrity and care. Passing down these sacred traditions to future generations within our family remains a core commitment. We aim to empower every participant to reconnect with themselves, the natural world, and the spiritual realm, fostering balance, clarity, and personal transformation.

Community Support and Empowerment

However, our vision goes beyond individual healing. We believe true growth comes from strengthening the entire community. That’s why we actively support our local community in Iquique through meaningful and sustainable projects. One of our key initiatives involves establishing an English school for both children and adults. Providing language education opens doors for the community, helping them engage more effectively with tourism and improve their professional and personal opportunities. This project reflects our mission to empower the local population and contribute to the region’s long-term strength.

Sustainability and Plant Preservation

Sustainability also stands at the heart of our work. We are developing a rehabilitation garden for Ayahuasca and other sacred plants used in our ceremonies. Growing and maintaining these plants on our land allows us to remain independent from external sources while ensuring the authenticity of our ceremonies. This approach follows the tradition of the honorable harvest — taking only what is needed, giving back to the earth, and treating the plants with deep respect and care.

Our Commitment

At Yachay Wasi, we strive to balance personal healing, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment. By combining ancient wisdom with sustainable practices and meaningful local engagement, we hope to leave a lasting legacy of healing and positive transformation — for both our guests and the wider community.
