Our Center
Your Home in the Amazon
Welcome to Yachay Wasi, our family-run healing center nestled deep in the Peruvian Amazon. Located in the peaceful riverside community of Iquique, our center is only accessible by boat. This journey into nature marks the beginning of a truly immersive experience—one of healing, reflection, and connection.
Our center is built with simplicity, heart, and harmony with the land. We offer private wooden bungalows, each with an en-suite bathroom. These cozy, natural spaces provide privacy and comfort, allowing you to rest deeply and feel at home throughout your stay. Surrounded by jungle sounds and fresh air, your bungalow becomes a sanctuary for integration and peace.
At the heart of Yachay Wasi stands the maloka, our sacred ceremonial space. This is where healing unfolds during our Ayahuasca ceremonies and plant dietas. Built using traditional methods and materials, the maloka holds a strong, calming energy that supports deep inner work. In addition, our shared kitchen and comedor (dining area) serve fresh, nourishing meals prepared with care. These common spaces encourage connection among guests and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
More than a retreat center, Yachay Wasi is a home. Three generations of our family live and work here, devoted to preserving the sacred traditions of Amazonian plant medicine. We welcome each guest as part of our extended family and support every step of your healing journey.
Moreover, the vibrant jungle that surrounds us is part of the medicine. The songs of birds, the flight of butterflies, and the flow of the river all hold space for your transformation.
Whether you join us for a retreat or a dieta, Yachay Wasi is a place to reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with something greater.
We’re honored to welcome you home.
